These Terms of Service govern your use of Barely Drawn, including any localized name used for the app, and the related image-generation services provided by Orca Labs. In these Terms, “Barely Drawn,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Barely Drawn service and Orca Labs, as applicable.

You may use Barely Drawn only if you can form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you and are not prohibited from receiving the service. The App is not directed to children under 13, or under the higher minimum age required by local law. If you are a minor but old enough to use the App where you live, you may use it only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
If you allow a minor to use the App, you are responsible for that use, including the images submitted and the resulting content.
Barely Drawn lets you select an image, choose a drawing style, and request an AI-generated interpretation of that image. You may then save the result to your device or share it through compatible apps and services.
The App currently does not require a Barely Drawn account and does not offer a paid subscription or in-app purchase. We may add, remove, or change features, styles, access conditions, usage limits, or supported devices over time. Availability may depend on network access, third-party services, regional restrictions and technical capacity.
Barely Drawn is not an on-device-only image editor. When you request a drawing, the App prepares a copy of the selected image and sends it over the internet to our cloud service and AI service provider for processing. The App may resize, re-encode, or otherwise prepare the image before transmission.
By deliberately starting generation after the App presents its disclosure, you instruct us to process the selected image for that request and authorize us and our service providers to copy, transmit, transform, and return the image only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and support the requested service. Do not start generation if you do not want the selected image processed in the cloud.
Our current service providers include Cloudflare for network and serverless infrastructure and Runware for AI image processing. Their services, availability, and technical behavior may change. More information is provided in our Privacy Policy.
You retain any rights you already have in an image or other content you submit to the App. You represent and warrant that:
