Quietly is designed so that notification data, user-created rules, and content-free notification insights stay on your Android device. Quietly has no account, cloud sync, or developer-operated content server.

Quietly uses Google Analytics for Firebase for limited pseudonymous technical and product-usage statistics. The free version may request occasional consent-gated, non-personalized inline ads through Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. Quietly Pro is an optional one-time lifetime product processed by Google Play.

Quietly does not put notification content, rules, searches, or on-device insight events into Firebase Analytics or advertising requests. This Privacy Policy explains local processing, Google SDK data, purchases, protection, retention, and your choices. It should be read together with the Quietly Terms of Service and Open Source Licenses.

1. Who is responsible for Quietly

Quietly is developed and operated by Orca Labs.

Privacy contact: [email protected]

In this Policy, "Quietly" or the "App" means the Quietly Android application, and "we," "us," or "our" means Orca Labs.

2. Local notification processing and Google SDK data are different

Quietly must access personal and sensitive information contained in Android notifications to provide its core features. Notification access, matching, history, suggestions, rules, content-free insight calculations, and preferences are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to Orca Labs, Firebase Analytics, or an advertising service.

Separately, Google Analytics for Firebase processes limited pseudonymous technical and product-usage data. When the free-tier ad gate is open, Google Mobile Ads processes the data described in Section 7 for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Google Play processes purchase and entitlement information if you view, buy, or restore Quietly Pro. These off-device flows are distinct from notification content.

Google SDK identifiers and technical data may be personal data under some laws even when Quietly does not use them to identify you by name. This Policy therefore does not claim that all telemetry or advertising data is anonymous or that nothing leaves your device.

Information you deliberately send to Orca Labs by email is handled separately as described in Section 11.

3. Notification information Quietly accesses only on your device

Only after you provide the in-app consent and grant Android Notification Access can Quietly receive new notifications, including while you are not actively viewing the App. Depending on what Android and the source app include, Quietly may access:
